Jeet Kund Do is what Bruce Lee called the style or concept of martial arts that he practiced. It's arguable whether Jeet Kune Do is a true "style" as we know it, but more a concept that you should research many different martial arts styles and come up with a mix that suits you and makes you a better fighter. Bruce Lee combined Wing Chun and Wushu with Fencing, Boxing and other arts to form his own unique "method", but every Jeet Kune Do practicioner should strive to put their own personality into Jeet Kune Do.

Real Life Application
Bruce Lee loved this method and we love Bruce Lee, so we highly recommend this tyle for practical application in everyday life. Since the underlying principles are no-nonsense fighting and combining techniques from many different styles, this is a fighting system that can (and should) be modified for each student to be as effective as possible.

Example Video
The first video is long, but it's the only instructional video of Jeet Kune Do that's produced with the endorsement of Bruce Lee's estate, so it's worth the time. The second video is a description of Jeet Kune Do by Bruce Lee, followed by a hilarious scene of Jeet Kune Do vs. Bear Style. We couldn't resist!
