Don't know if someone mentioned it already, but Jet Li's Twin Warriors?? I love the music, story line is sufficient, and an all around good movie.

I have to disagree with this list also. Fearless should definitely be in the top 15 somewhere especially since the list seems to be Hollywood biased. I know that the Kill Bill movies had some martial arts basis in the themes of the movies but top 10 or even top 15 really??? Over half of the actors in that film don't even know martial arts they trained for about a year max.
I know I'll never hear the end of this one but even though Bruce Lee was a great martial artist in real life I really don't feel the few films he made were that great. Sorry folks :~(. Although I'm pretty sure he could pulverize my ass in a few seconds were he still alive today I didn't like the movies he made.
Even if I only selected Hollywood martial arts films I could've come up with a much better list.

i think the comments had a better list of martial arts movies then this website's choices! (thanx guys)
and i'll throw a little hidden gem i stumbled across on youtube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZQD1tqAvLA

its a low budget martial arts indie that does a hell of a better job than its Hollywood predecessor! These guys may be the next undiscovered martial arts movie masters if this is only a taste of what they've got in store! If only all video martial arts movies were like it... ofcourse with a better budget and special fx!

Who dares to rate 16 top martial arts movies and leave out at least one of the Once Upon a Time in China from the series? Those movies completely turned around the martial art film industry in Hong Kong, Asia and all around the world - even the critics agree on that.

Kill Bill? Any martial artist laughs at the obvious SUPERIOR martial arts skills of the stunt men over Uma Thurman, whose sword is SHAKING IN HER HANDS (!!!) as she is standing, ready to fight ... LOL. I couldn't even dare to watch that movie till the end!

How about The Blade from Tsui Hark? I top that as martial arts movie over many on the above on the list. The movie does have a dark tone but top martial arts actors are paired with superior choreography; just about all martial artists who saw that movie put it on the top of their list. Or even 36th Chamber of Shaolin! Gordon Liu is a fantastic martial artist and stared in many great movies. His classic the 36th Chamber does deserve to be on that list.

I recommend checking out a lot more Hong Kong movies to revise the above list.
